So I called my OB office Monday after having a positive home pregnancy test and left an urgent message that I needed to have progesterone supplements ordered. Receiving no call back yesterday despite the fact that I called 3 times. Being told I would hear from somebody today by 10 and having to call twice again to make people get their butts moving! I finally had a progesterone supplement order placed and was able to pick it up this afternoon! Yay!

These things are pretty crazy looking. The packaging itself is a round box that when you flip it over looks like it would hold bullets, and that's cause the progesterone is shaped like a bullet lol. I am to take 100mg twice a day till 12-13 weeks of pregnancy, so 200mg a day total.

I feel so much better finally having these, I believe that they will do the trick in keeping our little love bug sticky. I'm not crazy about the side effects that these "cause" (well enhance really) but I can totally deal with it! Daniel was already poking fun at me saying that these are going to make me crazy and he's just going to hide in the garage working on his Star Wars armor project.

I am still blown away by how early I/we found out. 10 days past ovulation or 3 weeks and 3 day pregnant, that's crazy, hopefully the first trimester just wont drag on since I found out so early. I'm sure it wont especially with summer coming, things get so busy and before you know it summer is gone. I guess it will be the same way.

  1. Congrats!! I had to use progesterone supplements my whole first trimester too. It does make you kind of loopy.

  2. Good Luck! I'll say a prayer for you!

  3. Congratulations! What great news :)

  4. Congrats on the pregnancy!! I'm so happy for you!! I pray that everything goes well this time around. I am very excited for the updates to come!!!

  5. Don't doctors Offices drive you crazy sometimes. I believe it should be illegal for a nurse or receptionist to call you unexpectedly to book an surprise appointment as per the doctor. This is what they do I guess... as a little stress to a pregnant ladies life! Keep us on our toes!!!

So glad you got your goods! GOOD LUCK!

  6. Congratulations, Lizzy! This is great news! I'm sending positive thoughts your way... XO!
